Requirements for Keōpūolani Hall include the following:

  • Alcohol is not allowed for youth events or if a large number of attendees are under age.
  • The renting party is responsible for the good conduct of attendees. 
  • The renting party is responsible for cleaning the facility and returning it to original condition.
  • “BYOB” of alcohol by attendees is not allowed.
  • Any caterer/bartender must be legally licensed by Maui County.

Insurance & Protection for Waiola:

  • The renting party must sign a facility use agreement, including a hold harmless agreement. 
  • A portion of the rental fee includes special event liability insurance with Waiola Church as the beneficiary. 
  • Any caterer/bartender/vendor must provide proof of commercial general liability coverage AND liquor liability coverage.
